Online Gambling Guide
I'm hoping many of you understand that poker is not "gambling", that it is, in fact, a game
of skill. Sure, short term luck can determine the winner of any particular hand, or even
tournament. However, once you start taking a look at all the hands and tournaments across
a lifetime of poker, well the short term luck has a diminishing impact, with skill
determining more of the long term results.
But, anyway, that isn't to say poker players don't like to Gambool! Especially the poker
players here at FTR! This section of FTR is dedicated to all forms of online gambling -
whether it is online blackjack, video poker, craps,
slots, or sports betting.
If you are a skilled poker player, then you are probably the favorite to win money in the
long term. Obviously, these other forms of wagering are designed for you to lose money in
the long term. However, anything can happen in the short term, so online gambling can
be very fun and if you're lucky, very profitable!
The world of online gambling is a $7.5 Billion business and is expected to more than
double in the next five years. Most of the onling gambling industry takes place
in locales such as Antigua, Costa Rica, and Gibraltar. But, Britain and other European nations are passing
friendly laws to bring some of this big business to their shores.
However, 70% of all online wagers are made in the United States!

So even though a game like Blackjack favors the house over the long term, there
is a way to absolutely be profitable at online casino gambling - and that's by taking advantage
